Fudge Assistant - Tuesday shift

 

Strawberry General Store is known for its kindness! General friendliness is essential. Our valued employees have a mission to give customers a great first impression. They smile and greet everyone who comes in, happy to go above and beyond to assist customers. 

 

Fudge assistants are responsible for packaging and labelling our homemade fudge. Fudge is made once (or twice) a week, and fudge packagers cut, package, label and stock fudge the following day.  We will cross train fudge packagers in other roles so that we have a fabulous and efficient team all season. 

 

Fudge Assistant | up to 4 hours per week | $17/hour

 

Responsibilities

Kindness to customers and coworkers

Package fudge

Apply appropriate labels to fudge containers

Stock fudge

Face merchandise

Dust shelves and merchandise

Disinfect surfaces

Sweep inside & outside of store

Mop as needed

Bag ice

Empty garbages

Refill water jug as needed

 

Requirements

Availability during the 3 Big Summer Holidays and month of July

Servsafe Certification (may be completed when hired)

A positive and friendly attitude

Wear a hair/beard net & latex gloves

Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds

Ability to discern fudge flavors and label appropriately

Detail oriented

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Adhere to dress code and wear provided shirt and name tag
