Ice & Shower Attendant - flexible days and times

 

Strawberry General Store is known for its kindness! General friendliness is essential. Our valued employees have a mission to give customers a great first impression. They smile and greet everyone who comes in, happy to go above and beyond to assist customers. 

 

Ice bagger / shower attendants are responsible for bagging and stocking ice and assisting customers with showers. They bag ice made at the store, stock ice freezers and receive shipments of ice as needed. They clean the showers, assist customers with how to use the showers, and monitor their time allotments. Ice baggers must be physically able to bag and lift ten pounds repeatedly.  We will cross train ice baggers / shower attendants in other roles so that we have a fabulous and efficient team all season. 

 

Ice Bagger / Shower Attendant | 5 days per week, up to 2 hours per day | $17/hour

 

Responsibilities

Kindness to customers and coworkers

Stock merchandise

Check expiration dates

Check produce for freshness

Face merchandise

Alert management to low quantities

Assist cashier with bagging

Dust shelves and merchandise

Disinfect surfaces

Sweep inside & outside of store

Mop as needed

Stock wood bundles

Keep wood room clean

Bag ice

Empty garbages

Refill water jug as needed

 

Requirements

Availability during the 3 Big Summer Holidays and month of July

A positive, upbeat and friendly attitude

Able to lift up to 50 pounds

Detail oriented

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Adhere to dress code and wear provided shirt and name tag
