Inventory Assistant - midmorning shifts

Inventory assistants are responsible for counting and tracking merchandise. They keep our inventory numbers up to date in our retail system and alert management of low quantities. They tag and price items, stock incoming products, make sure clothing is neatly folded and keep displays organized. Inventory assistants must have some computer knowledge and be able to count items accurately.  We will cross train inventory assistants in other roles so that we have a fabulous and efficient team all season.  

 

Inventory Assistant | up to 20 hours per week | $18/hour

 

Responsibilities

Kindness to customers and coworkers

Count & accurately record inventory quantities

Alert management to low quantities

Stock merchandise

Fold clothing / keep displays organized

Verify prices

Tag and label merchandise

Face merchandise

 

Requirements

​

Availability during the 3 Big Summer Holidays and month of July

A positive and friendly attitude

Computer proficiency required 

Previous inventory experience preferred

Ability to load & use a tag gun & price gun

Able to lift up to 40 pounds

Detail oriented

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Adhere to dress code and wear provided shirt and name tag
