​Merchandise Stocker - Tuesday and Wednesday options

 

Strawberry General Store is known for its kindness! General friendliness is essential. Our valued employees have a mission to give customers a great first impression. They smile and greet everyone who comes in, happy to go above and beyond to assist customers. 

 

Merchandise stockers are responsible for keeping our shelves full and tidy. They check prices, tag merchandise and stock shelves as deliveries arrive. Stockers must be physically able to maneuver heavy crates and products.
 

Merchandise Stocker | 5 hours, 1 day per week | $18/hour

 

Responsibilities

Kindness to customers and coworkers

Stock merchandise

Verify prices

Tag and label merchandise

Check expiration dates

Check produce for freshness

Face merchandise

Alert management to low quantities

Dust shelves and merchandise

Disinfect surfaces

Stock wood bundles

Refill water jug as needed

 

Requirements

Availability during the 3 Big Summer Holidays and month of July

A positive and friendly attitude

Computer proficiency

Ability to upload & use our retail APP

​Ability to load & use a tag gun & price gun

Able to lift up to 50 pounds

Previous stocking/receiving experience preferred

Detail oriented

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Adhere to dress code and wear provided shirt and name tag
