Trail Angel Attendant - many shift options

 

Strawberry General Store is known for its kindness! General friendliness is essential. Our valued employees have a mission to give customers a great first impression. They smile and greet everyone who comes in, happy to go above and beyond to assist customers. 

 

Bob and Gina are honored to be Trail Angels for Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) hikers. PCT hikers are treated to free group lodging, laundry services, showers and essentials. Trail Angel Attendants are responsible for welcoming and assisting PCT hikers. They stock essentials like shampoo and plastic baggies, replenish fresh linens and clean clothing, and keep the showers, laundry and lodging area tidy. They communicate with PCT hikers to ensure their needs are being met and keep an organized list of requested items. We will cross train Trail Angel attendants in other roles so that we have a fabulous and efficient team all season.  

 

Trail Angel Attendant | 8-12 hours per week* | $18/hour

*hours may increase as season progresses

Responsibilities

Kindness to customers, PCT hikers and coworkers

Welcome & inform PCT hikers of our services

Maintain & clean lodging area

Stock essential items (shampoo, baggies, etc)

Wash linens, towels and borrowed clothing

Maintain laundry area

Clean shower area

Maintain list of requested items

 

Requirements

A positive, upbeat and friendly attitude

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds

Adhere to dress code and wear provided shirt and name tag
